Dashtxtastic has three plans. Two of them unlock unlimited projects; one of them also unlocks the AI brand-kit agent. AI usage itself is metered against Claude credits that you purchase as top-ups.

Plans at a glance

The Pro and Pro + AI subscriptions auto-renew monthly. Cancel anytime; you keep access until the end of the billing period.

AI usage is funded entirely by purchased credits. There is no monthly AI allowance baked into any plan: every agent turn deducts from the top-up balance you have bought. Top-ups never expire.

Open the Credits page

1. Click your name in the top nav (the "Hello {name}!" greeting). You land in Account settings.
2. Click the "Credits" tab.

What the page shows

• Current plan: free, pro, or pro + ai.
• Top-up balance: AI credits you have purchased. Drops as the agent runs turns.
• Subscription cards: two side-by-side cards for Pro and Pro + AI. The card matching your current plan is marked.
• History: a list of past top-ups with date, amount, and a Stripe session reference.

Subscribe to Pro or Pro + AI

If you are on free, the Credits page shows both plans:

1. Click Pro ($5.99) to lift the 5-project cap and unlock the Developer API, or click Pro + AI ($12.99) to also unlock the brand-kit agent.
2. The app sends you to a Stripe-hosted Checkout page.
3. Pay with any card Stripe supports.
4. Stripe redirects you back to Dashtxtastic; the Credits page now shows your new plan.

If you picked Pro + AI, the AI agent panel becomes visible in the kit editor immediately, and you can buy credits to start spending.

Switching between Pro and Pro + AI

• On Pro and want AI? Click Pro + AI on the Credits page. Stripe upgrades your subscription.
• On Pro + AI and want to drop AI but keep unlimited projects? Click Pro on the Credits page. Your subscription is swapped to Pro at the start of the next billing cycle; the agent panel disappears once that takes effect. Existing top-up credits stay in your balance, idle, and become spendable again if you re-enable AI.

Buy AI credits

You can only spend the agent if you are on Pro + AI. Once you are, top-ups are how you fund agent usage.

1. From /account/credits, find the Buy credits section.
2. Click one of the preset chips ($10, $25, $50) or click "Custom" and type any amount between $10 and $100 (the input rejects below $10 and above $100, since smaller top-ups would be eaten by Stripe's per-transaction fee).
3. The "Buy" button enables once you have a valid amount.
4. Click Buy. The app sends you to Stripe Checkout for that amount.
5. Pay. Stripe redirects you back to Dashtxtastic with a success toast.

The top-up balance bumps as soon as the redirect lands. The history list shows the new entry.

How credit is spent

Each agent turn costs a small amount based on how many tokens Claude reads and writes. The cost is logged server-side; the panel shows a token estimate before you click Send.

Spending order:

1. The top-up balance is drained as the agent runs.
2. When the top-up balance hits zero, a lockout modal blocks further turns until you add credits.

Top-up balance never goes negative and never expires. If you buy $10 and use $3, the remaining $7 stays available next month, next year, whenever you come back.

Cancel a checkout

If you change your mind on Stripe's page, click the back arrow or the cancel link. Stripe redirects you to /account/credits?topup=cancel. Nothing is charged, no top-up is recorded.

Hit a lockout while editing

When the agent panel runs out of budget mid-conversation, a modal slides in: "You've reached your Claude usage limit." It shows your current top-up balance and a "Top up" button.

Click "Top up" to add credits on the spot. After payment, close the modal and resume the conversation.

Refunds

For refund requests, contact support directly. Refunded amounts are removed from your top-up balance. The history list reflects the refund.

What you do NOT pay for

• Uploading projects (within your plan's project cap).
• Editing markdown in the project detail page.
• Publishing.
• Customising the brand kit by hand (manual edits to kit.css, scaffold.html, kit.json).
• Asset uploads (logos, backgrounds).
• Saving named drafts or reverting from history.

Only the AI agent counts against Claude credit.
